Milan Summer Dog Safety

Milan summers can be brutal for dogs: **Heat:** July-August regularly hits 35C+ with high humidity. Very uncomfortable for dogs. **Timing:** Walk before 8am and after 8pm. Midday is dangerous. **Pavement:** Asphalt gets extremely hot. Test with your hand. **Water:** Carry water always. Some fountains in parks but don't rely on them. **AC:** Many shops have AC but not all welcome dogs. The Duomo area has some dog-friendly stores with AC.
