Epping Forest

Epping Forest is a vast ancient woodland straddling the London/Essex border. It's 6,000 acres of woodland, heath, ponds, and grassland - absolute heaven for dogs. **Epic Adventures:** This is proper forest - you can walk for hours and barely see anyone. Ancient pollarded trees, forest ponds, deer, and incredible biodiversity. **Dog Paradise:** Off-leash throughout most of the forest. Numerous ponds for swimming. Miles of trails from easy to adventurous. Bring a map or use the forest trails app. **Access:** Tube to Epping, Loughton, or Chingford. Large car parks at various points. The Tea Hut near High Beach is legendary among walkers.
