About this place
The Parkland Walk is London's longest Local Nature Reserve, following the old railway line that once connected Finsbury Park to Alexandra Palace.
**Route:**
The main section runs 2.5 miles from Finsbury Park to Highgate station. A northern section continues to Alexandra Palace. Mostly flat and easy walking.
**Nature:**
Wild and overgrown in a magical way. Foxes, birds, butterflies, and lots of wildflowers. The old station platforms are atmospheric.
**Dogs:**
Off-leash throughout if your dog has good recall. Natural terrain - can be muddy. The spriggan sculpture surprises everyone!
