This stretch of the Thames Path is quintessentially English - past Tudor palaces, through royal parks, along a gentler Thames. **Route:** Hampton Court Palace to Kingston town center is about 2.5 miles. Flat, paved, and easy. Extend to Richmond for a longer day. **Highlights:** Hampton Court Palace and gardens, Bushy Park deer (careful with dogs!), pretty Kingston riverside with pubs and restaurants. **Dog Notes:** On lead near the palace and in formal areas. Bushy Park requires dogs under close control due to deer.
