Hainault Forest Country Park

Hainault Forest is a survivor of the ancient Forest of Essex that once covered this entire region. Now 300 acres of wonderful walking. **Features:** Ancient woodland, fishing lake, city farm, and café. The forest has been continuous woodland for over 1,000 years. **Trails:** Multiple waymarked trails from 1-5 miles. Generally well-drained paths. Excellent for dogs who love exploring woodland. **Facilities:** Free car parking. The Foxburrows Farm has animals (dogs on leads nearby). The lakeside café is dog-friendly.
