London Dog Walking Rules

About this place

London is extremely dog-friendly, but there are rules to know: **Public Transport:** Dogs travel free on TfL (Tube, buses, Overground). No muzzle required. Must be on lead. Avoid rush hour if possible - some stations are very crowded. **Royal Parks:** Dogs allowed in all Royal Parks but must be "under close control." Some areas require leads (near wildlife, playgrounds). Horse paths are off-limits. **Waste:** You MUST pick up after your dog. Fines up to £1,000. Free poo bag dispensers in most parks. Double-bag and bin it. **Dangerous Dogs Act:** XL Bullies and other banned breeds have strict requirements. Check gov.uk for current rules.
