Foods high in fat can trigger pancreatitis, a painful and potentially life-threatening inflammation of the pancreas. Bacon, ham, fatty trimmings, and fried foods are common culprits. Some dogs are more susceptible than others.

  • vomiting
  • diarrhea
  • abdominal pain
  • hunched back
  • loss of appetite
  • fever
