Munich Public Transport with Dogs

Munich's MVV system is very dog-friendly: **Dogs on MVV:** Small dogs in carriers: free Large dogs: €1.40 day ticket (Streifenkarte) or included with group ticket **Requirements:** Dogs must be on lead. No muzzle required (unlike some cities). Avoid rush hour if possible. **S-Bahn/U-Bahn/Tram/Bus:** All allow dogs. S-Bahn to lakes (Starnberger See, Ammersee) is great for day trips. **Tip:** The Ringschluss (outer ring) S-Bahns are less crowded for trips to outer parks.
